This biography was prepared in 2010. Although Jim Crom is a freshman to the Board of GVRCA, he has lived in GVR for five years. He is a resident of the Stoneybrook sub association
Born and raised in a small Wisconsin town, Jim’ high school graduating class consisted of himself and only 35 other classmates! He joined the army after high school and was stationed in Germany. Jim relocated to GVR from Milwaukee, Wisconsin after receiving his second degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Jim believes that every problem contains its solution, and he likes to be part of the solution. He is excited to bring his fresh perspective and energy to the Board.
When asked what he likes best about the Ranch, Jim responds “In a word, the landscaping; GVR is truly an oasis in the desert. It is great to turn off the freeway after a hard day at work and become part of the tranquility and serenity of GVR.” He finds living in a planned community is everything he expected.
